These little "clubs" have helped me my entire parental career. It's been good for the kids to see the grown adults conversing and trouble shooting the "how to"s of a shared hobby. I think it models better social behavior. Kids always want to do what the grown ups are doing, and this presents an opportunity for "hands-on" teaching, as well as respecting the effort someone else put into something. I couldn’t agree more.
